My friend George Sirbasku has shown me how to be an adventurer

Many of the biggest adventures of my life have been with my friend George. Often it’s been while traveling in a distant place and sometimes closer to our homes in Minnesota.

We’ve crashed a wedding dressed as pirates.

We crashed another wedding by landing in a helicopter.

Also in the podcast episode, we share my life-changing paddle boarding experience, running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, and being at the real Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.

When I decided I was going to start my “People I Know Show” podcast, I knew that the first episode should best represent why the podcast exists. And at that time, about a year ago, as I formulated my ideas, I concluded that more than anyone else in recent years, George has influenced my thinking and actions. I am a different person because of these experiences I’ve had with George and the friendship we have built.

We all can look to our lives and the people that have influenced us to be who we are today. I think this is important to consider. And for me, with all I’ve learned, it’s important to share these people and their stories with an audience. I want the influential people in my life to possibly have a greater positive impact on as many people as possible through my podcast and now this blog.

There are so many amazing people in this world and I believe there is something to be learned from all of them. As I look back on a year of podcasting I want to thank George and all of my guests for sharing aspects of their story as I attempt achieve my goals.
